La Sagrada Familia, Barcelona
There really are no words for a place like this. But I’ll try to say a few 🙂 La Sagrada Familia is a cathedral over a hundred years in the making. Started in the late 1800s, you can see all the touches from the initial architect, Gaudi, but you can also see all the other hands of architects that have touched this amazing building. It’s awe inspiring, jaw dropping and just plan beautiful. The detail on the outer structure is something that you could sit and stare at for days and find something new every hour. The light pouring in through the giant stained glass windows was my favorite part. It’s a must see for anyone visiting Barcelona. MUST.
