Rome, the eternal city

I remember not really liking Rome when I was there, thinking everything was so far apart. Granted we weren’t staying in the best area but it just wasn’t…. Florence. Looking back on it now, I think I was having feels of dislike more from our weeks of previous travel and was just tired from all the exploring. And, it wasn’t Florence. But looking back now, Rome is a really cool place. I mean how can it not be with all that history… and Italian food. We had some of the best Cacio e Pepe there, so good that we went back a few days later for more. There is so much to see and I think I’m ready to head back and see it with fresher eyes. What do ya say, Charlie? 🙂
