I’ve been absent a few days because I thought I would give myself a break for the holiday season. Then, that was forced upon me when I came down with the flu! I don’t want to be a complainer but, man is it tough to be across the world from your family on the holidays AND be pretty sick to boot. That’s probably the sickest I have been in awhile but I am on the mend so I am here to share some more of my photos from Japan.

The day we visited the Osaka Castle there was a typhoon hurtling towards the city. So, we decided to try and beat the downpour and got up early to see the castle. We got there and had a chance to walk around and see this majestic building. But, we couldn’t go inside for safety reasons, it was already pretty windy and rainy. We did however come upon a surprise and I am sharing those pictures tomorrow so come back and check them out.

I had hopes to share some of our Christmas decorations that we fashioned in a country that isn’t too Christmas-y compared to our home country but I just couldn’t get myself to do it, so we will have to wait until next year to see what kind of Christmas fun we get up to. I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday season and enjoyed your family and ate a bunch of yummy food. You can tell I have been away from home for too long, I am now having food dreams…

  1. I’m glad I’m not the only one dreaming if food. The only thing that could have made the trip to Osaka better would be to ride out the typhoon IN the castle…whilst wearing samurai costumes. ^^
